Everyday I'm a different person.

Sometimes I look at my old stuff- my writings, drawings, internet bookmarks, books I liked- and wonder who I was, what I was thinking. I don't know what sort of person I used to be. It's sort of scary to realize that I forget myself as much as I forget other people, but I guess this is what people mean by living in the moment? It's not as freeing as I had hoped.

There should be a ban on blogging when I'm feeling dramatic.

Tired. A monotonous bore

I wanna move to a place where walking and public transport can take you everywhere, where people who live in the same building know each other, and where everyday is a little different.

I don't want to keep living by having every day's work planned out since monday, by eating the same food and seeing the same people, and by going to the same places everyday.

I want to go somewhere where nobody knows who I am yet everyone says hello.

Yeah so I failed my math midterm #1 this morning~
I was feeling super crappy yesterday cuz I didn't learn any math this quarter (damn you APO!) and was freaking out. But then I got to the study group thing and 1 girl said she was taking this class for the 4th time and Michelle said this was her 3rd time.. and then I don't feel.. so baaaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD~ (insert sound clip from The Sound of Music).

Yep, super special thanks to my roommate Nhi who banged on my door at 7 to see if I was awake. I was NOT since I slept through both my alarms, and my cell phone alarm, AND my ipod ran out of juice in the middle of the night so the alarm didn't ring :[ eeeeeeh...

Sairah has strep throat. It's crazy contagious. I keep forgetting so I keep getting close to her when I talk to her... and ever since she told me she has strep throat I've been feeling like my throat hurts too.. NOOOO! I've got a midterm every week for the next 3 weeks! I can't do this! >_<

Now that the math midterm has passed, I'm freaking out over the Dal doll on ebay. It got a new bid on it! I'm so worried that someone will get it D< can't wait til Friday!! SHOWDOWN, BITCHES.

Addicted to Ebay

I'm looking up all kinds of stuff on Ebay lately. Mostly shoes, some dolls, some doll shoes. I wanna hit up a thrift store the next time I go home~

I'm also addicted to Brown Eyed Girls. They're all so pretty, but most importantly I CAN TELL THEM APART. I wish their stylist would give Miryo bangs back; she looks so cute in older pictures. And Jeah's a little forgettable at times... that's not good, I think she's lead vocals..! Narsha looks so cute with a boy haircut, it's making me want to chop off all my hair again xD

Hurhur so I met someone new yesterday and despite my best efforts to be likeable, I ended up being very much like a guy. I'm a man inside a girl D:

Case in point, I spent all afternoon poking around Modcloth. Most of their retro-inspired dresses are laughably ugly, but I really liked some of them. The reason i spent all afternoon on the site was because I was compiling pictures; the dresses are too expensive so I'm gonna try making them. eventually. Maybe find a summer class, if i don't tag along with shleigh to a taxidermy class.





On monday, my roommate, Nhi, and I are going to to talk like this really annoying girl she knows, and im supposed to show a video of her to Victor and the guys to see if they're attracted to this cutesy voice (an anthro student doing a social experiment?!? pfft). Speaking like this girl makes me gag, but I'm PROVING A POINT: you can fake this little girl voice if you're dedicated enough, so I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT. but there's limits to it; i have to change what I would normally say to fit this voice. This is gonna be rly hard T_T

Also, I'm addicted to Playfish Gangster City. Facebook games are evil :\

dreams of going to a steampunk con are pretty much dead now, but no biggie. I'll be busy prolly. I was supposed to find a humanitarian or art internship anyway. Or take actual classes at a JC somewhere (not "interest" classes but classes that actually count for my major). Ehhh, we'll see what happens.

I wanna play Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, but its hard to get KG, Victor, Chris, and me in a room together anymore. Everyone's too busy~ I'm de-pledging Alpha Phi Omega, but it doesn't free up much time.
Being grown-up and responsible is a hassle.

On a side note, I, being the corrupter-of-pure-minds that I am, have recently introduced So Yon and Mamiko to the world of Chuck Norris "facts". I'm having more fun with this then anyone should :P

ps: feel kinda bad for bailing out of undoukai, but I really didn't want to spend the whole day doing nothing. But I ended up doing that anyway... Maybe if I signed up for dodgeball properly.. but that's a no go. i missed that crucial meeting for the APhi Logistics mtg. The 3 hour logistics meeting, which I thought was crazy long until we did the first pledge meeting, which was SIX hours. It's impossible to pledge for a frat/sorority without your grades taking a major dive :P

Turtle Ridge

has the best name ever for an apartment community. Srsly, TURTLE RIDGE. What can top that? Without sounding kinda like a druggie encampment? [That last statement is so you can exclude anything with the word "unicorn" in it...]

So we went to look, even though I crazy want Dartmouth, and the model was reeeeally nice looking. It was about the same size as Dartmouth but.. but.. they decorated the entire apartment in green o-o The NICE light green too. like, the dining chair, the bed spreads, etc.

Firefox theme

Uhh ok so I installed the firefox adblocker add-on. Then I went to sleep and kept waking up and kept falling back asleep. Everytime I did that, I'd wake up my laptop, so i think it got glitchy and finally shut off. Then, as usual, when i try to turn it on from it being "shut down" as opposed to "hibernated" the drivers never connect right and I always have to hold the button and restart so that I can move the cursor.

This is all pretty usual stuff, so i wasn't really thinking.

But I just noticed that my firefox theme went away.
A while back I posted a screenshot of having the Mameshiba bean dog at the top right of my firefox browser. Yesterday I had changed it to a cute bee theme, and download some other ones for later use. Today they're all gone.
ok, no biggie, my laptop has a habit of deleting my stuff all the time.
So I tried to find the page on google where I dl-ed the themes from, and I can't find it... i get something completely different...

was this all a dream? And if so, then i have such mundane dreams :\

Finally got Japanese to work on my laptop :'D mucho important cuz i've spent the last 2 days on campus. Like, the WHOLE day and still didn't finish my composition...

6 days ago I commented on a GDragon video on youtube saying he reminds me of Lady Gaga. I never say things rudely or anything, but I got so voted down that my comment is permanently hidden.. Which isn't the part that bugs me. The rub is how every other poster since then has been saying "I think he looks like lady gaga" or "Korean gaga" since then -_-"
wish youtube was more fair like lj, and managed their comments better.

New Firefox update :l

It's annoying how software completely stops working once there's a new version of it available for download. Then I HAVE to go and install it, cuz the old version completely doesn't work anymore. Is this normal?
Like, I always use a lot of tabs on my laptop and I put off updating stuff cuz I don't want to restart (part of why I always go to the library to do homework; it requires me to clear all my tabs when I'm done and I'm not looking up other stuff cuz I know I can't keep it when I leave). But then when I have to read a pdf, IT WON'T OPEN. When I need to use firefox, it says error there's already a firefox window open, close it or restart. When I restart, it still won't work. And then I remember AHH there was a prompt to install the new version yesterday. Shit, is that why this isn't working? [yes, that was why...]
And then the laptop camera completely stopped working on fb when we were taking pictures at New Years dinner. That was cuz BAM a new update for flash had come out and I didn't download and install it right at that second.
And Apple got in trouble for trying to sneak Safari into the itunes update. ABOUT FREAKING TIME. I'm always so paranoid when itunes needs to be updated, like, is there anything else they almost got me to install? And for a while i was wondering whether or not it meant a safari update for my ipod touch... but then the computer doesn't know I have an ipod touch! so i didn't think so...

anywho, new firefox has this thing with themes. It's stupid (why do ppl have to "make" and "submit" themes? we should just be able to set an image as our theme, like desktop wallpapers...), and it's clutter (half the themes I tried out made it so I couldn't see the buttons at the top).
With that said, I set a simple theme that makes my browsing experience more green.

I still might get rid of it. It's a little distracting..

Watched Gamer last night. It was a little boring. But identifying all the actors with other roles they've done was kinda fun, since a crapton of them was from tv. Sedgwick still freaks me out, her mouth and neck are creepy :(

IMDB says Gerard Butler owns a pug named Lolitta who was small enough to fit in his palm. I'm sad cuz I can't find any pictures from when she was that small. There's only pics of her being normal-pug sized. Pugs are so cool :D And there's something really awesome about big masculine guys with tiny, tiny dogs.

It's cold! I wish the electric blanket was more of a blanket than a heated plank, its too stiff to use as a wrap. so I made coffee, even though I'm totally awake and just brushed my teeth.

I love instant drinks. Even though they're probably bad for me in the long run... Who wants to live that long anyways? And people my age are out drinking way worse stuff! You can have your beer and the intoxicated befuddlement that comes with it, I prefer the awakeness conferred by 3-in-one coffee :P

Career Fest スタート!!

Yes.. So I went to the Writing Panel today, as well as the Undergraduate Business Assoc.'s panel. They weren't ground-breakingly inspiring or anything but I got some good info and I guess it was worth two hours of my time hahah. I'm not sure what I want to do after college, so the best advice I got today was to just get out there and DO. Think about it later, or never, since it might be better that you don't hahah.

btw I dread the word "networking." Socializing is not my forte, and definitely not forced-socializing-for-ulterior-motives :(
